We appreciate the elegance exhibited by this 285 square meter split level penthouse designed by ÁBATON Arquitects and located in Madrid, Spain. The project is situated in an unusual circular building, where each of the ten suits it accommodates offers abundant natural lighting and easy reach towards miniature landscaped gardens: “All the access areas to this property were conceived as outdoor spaces to increase the sensation of privacy and isolation.
The terraces which mark out the different areas were decorated with non-invasive plants, leafy enough to give the impression of a ground level garden. A natural irrigation system was designed leading rain water from the roof tops down towards the terraces and no maintenance is necessary. These terraces of warm earth serve as insulators“. This particular duplex occupies the upper two floors of the building and showcases a minimalist design, spiced up with charming wooden furniture pieces. How would you describe its overall look and feel?
